Palace of Art in Kraków, “Corrida” Painting and Sculpture Exhibition

The exhibition presented monumental paintings and sculptures from the "Corrida" series, devoted to struggle, transience and the coexistence of life and death.

It is an intense, personal record of emotion, in which the painterly gesture becomes a vehicle of experience.

The Palace of Art in Krakow showed almost the entire "CORRIDA" series, created between July 2017 and January 2022. The cycle comprises over 50 works, among them: 5 triptychs measuring 198 x 442 cm and 170 x 360 cm, the metal sculpture "Hemingway" - 670 cm high with a 290 cm base, now in Brazil - and more than 30 oil paintings, together with a series of sculptures titled "TORO".

The exhibition ran in April and May 2022.
