Corrida INTRODUCTION

The Corrida series grows out of the experience of the bullfight ritual, but it is not a depiction of it. The starting point is the drama of confrontation, which in the painting process is transformed into an abstract language of tension, movement and matter. The struggle in the arena becomes a metaphor for the creative process and a reflection on the fragility of life, on change and on the human condition.
