Night Flowers, 2013
- Oil on canvas
- 150 x 120 cm
- La Gomera
Night Flowers develops a painterly language based on the density of matter and on complex relationships of light and space. The multilayered structure of the painting gradually reveals successive arrangements of forms, building a composition whose order emerges from apparent heterogeneity.
The painting refers to the processes that shape the structure of nature. Overlapping layers of matter form an organic arrangement in constant transformation, where rhythm, depth and light are born of the painterly matter itself.
