Night Glow, 2020

“Night Glow” grew out of the experience of the Australian night, in which light does not disappear but takes on a subtler form. Deep blacks, cool blues and intense greens build a composition based on rhythm, silence and the gradual emergence of space. The restricted palette and the recurring vertical structures reinforce a sense of concentration, leaving light as the only element that orders the painting.
