“Contact” depicts the moment of the first real meeting of two forces. After a phase of observation and mutual testing of the space comes the moment when distance disappears and a direct exchange of energy begins. This is not yet the decisive clash, but the beginning of a dialogue conducted through movement, intuition and the constant reading of the opponent’s intentions.

The composition is formed by abruptly intersecting painterly gestures, contrasted with distinct verticals and luminous planes of colour. The dynamic forms do not describe particular figures; they build tension between approach and evasion, control and spontaneous reaction. Intense blues, yellows, reds and blacks reinforce the sense of a continuous flow of energy.

Within the Corrida series, Contact becomes an image of the first clashes — the moment when the ritual ceases to be mere choreography and begins to reveal real risk, while leaving the outcome of the encounter entirely open.
