Magnificent Australia, 2015

The painting grew out of the experience of the Australian bush – a space that constantly surrounds, permeates and alters the way one sees. Layers of colour, abrupt gestures and intersecting rhythms do not describe nature; they convey its intensity, complexity and unpredictability.
