“Corrida Requiem” is the symbolic closing of the series and a tribute to the centuries-old tradition of the corrida. The painting is dedicated to the memory of all those who over the centuries gave their lives in the arena – both people and bulls – shaping together the history of one of the most complex rituals of Mediterranean culture.

The monumental composition rests on a dialogue between deep black, intense red and cool blues. Red recalls the memory of life, courage, passion and sacrifice, while blue introduces a space of silence, reflection and reconciliation. Dynamic painterly gestures gradually give way to synthetic forms, as if the energy of the fight were dispersing, leaving only traces inscribed in memory.

Corrida Requiem is not a story about death, but about memory. It is a reflection on a tradition that for centuries shaped the imagination of artists, writers and whole generations of audiences. The triptych becomes a symbolic monument dedicated to all the participants of this ritual and to the traces they left in culture, history and collective memory.
