Touch, 2019/2020

The title “Touch” refers to a moment of direct contact with a place – an experience that needs no description, yet leaves a lasting trace. A bright range of colours, transparent layers and a free painterly gesture create a composition built on lightness and balance. Unlike the earlier works in the Australia series, the painting focuses not on the monumentality of the landscape but on the subtle experience of its presence.
